Menus
Tailor your specific menus and submenus by product category showing the components available for use within each level.
The system enables you to create 30 main menu headings on the left side of the design canvas page. Each main menu heading can be further subdivided into 20 submenu categories, each in turn being able to hold 20 components.
This gives access to a theoretical 30 x 20 x 20 matrix of components. These can be further segmented into 16 differing Internal Diameter (ID) tube sizes of your choice - thus giving access to a theoretical 192,000 different components.
This gives the user great flexibility in mapping their component parts within the software’s database and enables the user to have access to 5 user defined fields of component information such as pressure, tensile strength, and pack size. This is in addition to standard fields such as part numbers, short and long descriptions, material composition, instant URL web look up etc
Flow Path Specification
Up to 16 flow paths, in user defined ID increments can be created and populated. Different size tubing is accommodated by using adaptors
Component Manipulation
Each component can be manipulated on the canvas screen using the Active Toolbar at the foot of the drawing screen. These include Components Group, Component Rotate Clockwise or Anticlockwise, Measurement Tool, Image to Front or Back, Single or Multiple Component Labelling, Component Delete from Canvas, Free Text Insert Tool and
Components
Your own or supplier approved Components can be imported into the software's database along with their individual detailed characteristics. These can be exported from the drawing canvas into the Parts List and then exported into the Microsoft Excel environment for further data manipulation e.g. customer quotations, purchase order requisitions or parts lists.
Drawing Details
Each drawing can labelled in detail and filed on your IT system for future reference or revision at a future date. These drawings can be emailed in a PDF format for internal or external use in addition to the parts list which is exported in Excel format. Users who share an identical licence can export drawings for revision and update elsewhere in the organisation or across organisations.
